【2023 DSE English Paper 3 題目答案】5**｜Task 8 18/19【附真跡】

It has recently come to attention that our celebrity chef star, William Puddle, was showing a series of calamitous mistakes. However, it is not a fair representation of the reality.

Regarding the real flood in the kitchen, it is acknowledged that Puddle forgot to turn off the tap at that moment, causing the floor to flood. However, the fault is that our company has just switched from an automatic tap to a manual one, which indirectly leads to the mistakes of Puddle. After a while, Puddle has redeemed his mistakes, by cleaning up the mess from the flood, and rectify the whole incident after realisation.

With respect to the claimed irresponsible behavior, it is witnessed that Puddle chopped up some raw chicken and started slicing up the other ingredients without washing hands. In fact, it is because Puddle has edited the video to make it shorter, and the part where he cleans everything has been cut. when it comes to the tea that has claimed to be used for drying the raw chicken, puddle also didn’t use it for wiping his face instead he used a clean one and there are 150 of the same kind. This has caused the misleading situation.

With regard to the ‘crying’ incident, he was not unable to control his emotions as a matter of fact he was chopping onions. That
is the reason why he was dropping tears.

I hope the above clarification can debunk the misunderstanding in public’s viral video. Our company will fully support Paddle as the star of the TV shows, and it is assured that similar kind
of incidents will not happen again. Please stay tuned on Puddle’s latest shows as well as our fascinating programmes.
