Sentence Structure一直是考生關注的部份,因為感覺上寫出難度高的句式會更容易拿高分。

不過,為何有考生使用難度高的句式,但反而拿不到lvl 5+ 甚至沒有lvl 3?

原因在於這些句式比較複雜且容易用錯,所以小編整理了高分範文使用的句式。

Sentence Structure

省略句

省略句基本上就是靠Present Participles和Past Participles形成。

這種句式不單止在寫作卷好用,閱讀卷也很喜歡考核學生

  • V. + ing + n., + SVO(主動)
  • p.p. + n., + SVO(被動)

表示因果關係 (前後兩句主語必須相同)

  1. Struggling with a difficult puzzle, Sarah’s perseverance paid off when she finally solved it.
  2. Lost in the wilderness, the hiker relied on his survival skills to navigate through treacherous terrain and find his way back to civilization.

表示同一時間發生、時間先後 (前後兩句主語必須相同)

Cleft Sentences (分裂句)

中文有排比句,英文也有排比句。
