Good morning, Principal, teachers and fellow students.
The big day for our school – the annual school fair is going to be held on 22nd May, Saturday. It’s one of the long-standing traditions of our school. The school fair will feature a great variety of treats for students and teachers alike. It also offers an invaluable opportunity for the past pupils to gather and survey the familiar environs where they grew up in. Since this is coming 30th year for the school fair, we’ve made every endeavor to create this glamorous event and turn it into the most unforgettable day of your life!
You may be wondering, what’s so unique about this year’s school fair? I wouldn’t be amazed if you told me that you’ve already experienced exactly the same as before in past years! But I can tell you that this is far from the truth. Some highlights for the school fair this year include the breath-taking performances organized by our award-winning School Band! The musicians are going to perform some of the most well-known pieces by Mozart and Chopin, say Nocturne Op.9! Their stunning performances will surely allow you to immerse in the musical world. But what if you’re not a big fan of melodies and tunes? No worries, as we’ve also prepared a plethora of fun activities for you. Tote calligraphy pieces and Chinese ink paintings back home which feature the rich ancient Chinese culture that originated from dynasties thousands of years ago. The western music performance inside the library of school is a place that values symbolize that our school is vibrant home for cultural diversity and vibrancy. Apart from aesthetic development, we all know that our school put much emphasis on physical development as well; thus, the alumni football match is held at the back of the main hall where sport embodies not merely a means for past graduates to bond but also a way to stress that our school nurture all-round individuals.

Knowing this already brings on the big day after knowing who’s coming? Do you want to take part in this event not just as a visitor but as a helper who facilitates the school fair? If yes you’re most welcomed to become one of us volunteer and contribute to this meaningful event! Some activities include supervising games stalls in playgrounds, decorating campus, monitoring order queues during day. Our school fair will certainly become a more memorable day with your efforts and help.
